If you need groceries, fuel, prescriptions or a longer supply stop, handle it in Quesnel before driving south to camp. Once parked, the point is to stay parked. The campground has hot showers, washrooms, coin laundry, potable water, a sani-dump and a small office gift shop, but it is not a full grocery store.

Pack for a Cariboo evening

Even after a warm driving day, evenings among the trees can feel cooler. Keep a layer and a light close to the door, confirm current campfire restrictions before lighting anything, and bring the hoses, adapters and power equipment your own setup requires. Pet, fire and seasonal policies should be confirmed with the office because conditions can change.
