Campground rules & good to know
Everything here exists so your neighbours have as good a night as you do. Questions about anything? Call the office at (250) 747-0699.
Arrivals & departures
- Check-out is 11:00 AM. Need a later start? Arrange it with the office at least the day before.
- Before you pull out, please leave your site and fire pit clean and ready for the next camper, with the picnic table back where you found it (lift, don't drag).
Quiet time & good neighbours
- Quiet time is 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
- Please keep alcohol at your own campsite.
- Walk the lanes rather than through other campsites, and keep music at a your-site-only volume.
- Parents are responsible for their children and their children's adventures.
Occupancy & visitors
- Each site sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children. Bringing more people? Just clear it with us before you arrive.
- Day visitors are welcome until 9:00 PM. Please have them park in the designated parking areas.
- Visitors can't bring pets into the campground — pets are for registered guests only.
- Registered guests are responsible for their visitors.
Vehicles
- The speed limit is a walking-pace 5 km/h, everywhere in the park.
- One vehicle per campsite; extra vehicles go in the designated parking areas.
- No washing cars or RVs in the park — a quick bucket wash of the bugs off your windshield and mirrors is fine.
Washrooms, showers & laundry
- Washrooms and showers are open 24 hours for registered guests. All rooms are private — if a door's locked, someone's in it.
- Showers are coin-operated: $1.00 for 5 minutes of hot water.
- Laundry is open 24 hours: $1.25 per wash and $1.25 per dry.
- Liquid laundry soap only, and no bleach — the machines insist.
- Please don't wash dishes, work coveralls or pet bedding in the washrooms or laundry, and keep children under 12 accompanied.
Sani-dump
- The sani-dump is free for registered guests. It's closed daily from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
- Sewer collars or rings and hoses are required — no buckets, and no draining gray water on the ground.
- If you're emptying your black tank, save enough gray water to flush the lines after, and please rinse the area well when you're done.
Pets
- We're a dog-friendly park. Pets stay on a leash (6 ft max) at all times, with someone who can handle them on the other end.
- Please pick up after your pet and put the waste in the garbage.
- Pets aren't allowed in the washrooms, gardens, office area or camp host site, and shouldn't be left tied up or unattended.
- A little barking is camping; nonstop barking isn't — please keep your dog settled day and night.
Campfires
- Campfires are allowed per BC rules: up to 1.5 ft wide with flames no higher than 1.5 ft.
- Never leave a fire unattended, and put it out completely before you turn in or step away.
- During a government campfire ban, only CSA/ULC-approved propane fire pits and propane cooking are allowed — bans are strictly enforced.
- As a private campground we may also limit fire size, or pause fires entirely, when conditions get too dry.
Garbage & wildlife
- Garbage cans are beside the washrooms. Please don't put food scraps or trash in the fire pits — it invites wildlife to dinner.
- Cigarette butts go in ashtrays or the garbage, not on the grounds.
Cancellations & refunds
- There's no charge to cancel a weeknight reservation by 6:00 PM the day before arrival.
- For a weekend reservation, cancel by 6:00 PM three days before arrival.
- For a holiday weekend or special event, cancel at least one week (7 days) before arrival.
- After those times, the office applies a charge: one night for a weeknight reservation, or 50% of the reservation for a weekend, holiday weekend or special event.
- No refunds are given for early departure.
The short fine print
- If something at your site isn't right, tell the office — we can't promise everything, but we'll do our best to make your stay a good one.
- Please don't move or deface signs or protective devices around the park.
- Management reserves the right to refuse service, and to ask anyone ignoring the rules to leave without a refund. It almost never comes to that.
