What we collect

When you request a site, we collect the information you provide: your name, email, phone number, dates, party and rig details, message, and campaign or referral information that explains how you found us. If you send post-stay feedback, we collect your 0–10 recommendation score, comments, and whether you want help planning a stay next year.

Why we collect it

We use this information to answer reservation requests, manage arrivals and stays, improve the campground, measure whether the website is useful, and follow up when you specifically ask about next year. We do not sell or rent personal information.

How long we keep it

Reservation, consent and feedback records are kept as long as reasonably needed to manage stays, respond to guests, maintain required business records, and understand repeat interest. Detailed website analytics are automatically removed after about 13 months. Aggregated totals may be kept longer because they no longer identify a visitor.

First-party website analytics

Our website records pages viewed, landing and exit pages, approximate engaged time, scroll depth, referral or campaign source, general device/browser type, and reservation-related actions. A random first-party browser identifier helps count approximate unique visitors. We honour enabled Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

The server may use an IP address briefly to derive an approximate country, region, or city. IP location is not exact. The raw IP address is discarded and is not displayed in the admin portal. When city lookup is configured, the lookup is performed securely by our geolocation service provider.

Optional advertising tools

Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel may be configured to measure advertising. Those third-party scripts load only after optional marketing-analytics consent is granted in this browser. They do not load by default.

Email updates

If you join the camping updates list, we may send season dates, occasional availability notes and local trip ideas—about four to six messages a year. Each marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Older contacts who asked only for a season-opening notice remain limited to that purpose. Reservation confirmations and messages about an active stay are service messages, not marketing.

Service providers

We use service providers to host the website and database, deliver email, and—when configured—derive approximate IP geography. They process information only to provide those services and may process data outside British Columbia or Canada under their own security and privacy commitments.
