15, 20, 30 amp or full service — which site do you need?

What's the difference between 15, 20 and 30 amp?

It comes down to how much you can run at once. A 30 amp hookup is what most trailers and motorhomes are built around — enough to run the air conditioner along with your usual appliances, so you're comfortable on a hot afternoon without tripping anything. A 20 or 15 amp site covers the basics: lights, the fridge, charging your devices, a small appliance here and there. If you rarely run air conditioning, or you're in a smaller camper or van, 20 or 15 amp is usually plenty. If in doubt, tell us your rig and we'll steer you right.

Do you have 50 amp sites?

Here's the honest answer: we don't advertise 50 amp. Our powered sites are 15, 20 and 30 amp, plus a small number of full-service sites. Most rigs are happy on 30 amp, and if you normally plug into 50 amp you can often run on 30 with a simple adapter — just be a little mindful about running two big draws, like both air conditioners, at the same time. If your rig really needs more, give us a call and we'll talk it through before you commit to the drive.

What does a full-service site include?

Full service means power, water and sewer right at your site — no trips to the sani-dump during your stay. It's the most convenient option for longer visits and bigger rigs. The catch is honest and simple: we only have a small number of full-service sites, and regulars claim them early. If that's what you're after, request early and let us know if your dates are flexible.

What if I'm in a tent or fully self-contained?

Then a dry site is likely your spot. Our unserviced dry sites are $25 a night — the quietest corners of the park, under the pines — and they suit tents and self-contained rigs that don't need a hookup. You still get the hot showers, flush toilets, coin laundry and the on-site sani-dump; you're just skipping the powered pedestal and saving a few dollars a night for it.

How do I tell you what I'm driving?

Easy. When you request a site, the form asks for your site type and your rig type and total length — for example, "32 ft fifth wheel" or simply "tent." If you're not sure which power level you need, choose "not sure" and we'll recommend one. Pull-throughs are available and larger rigs are welcome.
